Since my handler Samm is hosting this month’s PoolSynergy, I had a slight obligation to contribute. I guess it’s only appropriate that I write about food since we both love it so much. So, this is a list of ten random places Samm has taken me to eat throughout our adventures, in no particular order. (Some were a little nicer than others.)
- Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak (Las Vegas, Nevada)

- In-N-Out Burger (Las Vegas, Nevada)

- Chick-fil-A (Northeast Colorado)

- Legends at the Horseshoe Hotel & Casino (Elizabeth, Indiana)

- Hilton Hotel Buffet (Las Vegas, Nevada)

- The Beef Jerky Store (Las Vegas, Nevada)

- Todai Sushi (Las Vegas, Nevada)

- Rib City BBQ (somewhere in Western Colorado)

- Pat’s (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)

- Geno’s (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)

Mmmm… Now, I’m hungry!

Normally I get downright jealous when people bring other pets into the office, but there’s one exception I always make. Mike the marketing guy has this dog named Blue who he brings to the office from time to time. Usually there’s some story that goes along with it along the lines of “I went home for lunch and the dog looked sad, so I brought him back to work with me”. What a sucker.
Anyway, Blue is just about the only dog I let come into my domain, mainly because he’s super chill and he always brings some kickass stuff with him. Today, he let me hang out on his blanket with him while Mike and Ashleigh scrambled around the office trying to do the work of 4 (since those slackers Alexis and Keven are off in Vegas for a pool tournament).

The other reason I don’t mind when Blue comes by is that I’ve known him since he was a crazy pup, running around, chasing rabbits and barking at strangers. He’s 10 years old now, so there isn’t much of the running and jumping anymore, but the old man is just as cool as ever.
So we’ll spend the afternoon kicking it in the office, listening to some Jerry Joseph and reminiscing about the time he knocked me over and broke my tail off.
Fridays at PoolDawg is all about the tunes. Sometimes we go Gangsta, other times it’s flashback 80′s, 70′s disco dance party or Surfin’ Safari, but today we’re going old school with a little George Clinton. Plus, anytime there’s a song about dogs, I’m in. Except for that “Who Let The Dogs Out”. I hate that song.
